Phototrend is made by an independent developer. This page says plainly what the app does with your data.
Photos
A photo you pick is sent to our server so an AI model can generate versions of it. We store it only while that request runs and delete it once the results are returned. Generated results are kept for a short time so the app can show them to you, then removed.
Your photos are never used to train any model and are never shown to anyone else.
Who else sees a photo
To generate a result, the photo is sent to the model providers we use: Google (Gemini) and OpenAI (GPT Image). They process it under their own API terms and, for API traffic, do not use it for training.
Accounts
There are none. The app creates a random identifier on your device to keep track of your free runs and the credits you buy. It is not linked to your name, email, phone number or Apple ID, and it is gone if you delete the app.
Purchases
Payments are handled by Apple. We never see your card details. We record which product was bought and how many credits it granted.
Analytics and crash reports
We count how often each trend is run, so the list can be ordered by what people actually use. These counts are not tied to a person.
The app also uses Google Firebase: Analytics tells us which screens and actions are used (for example, how many people make a video), and Crashlytics sends a report when the app crashes. Both use a random app identifier, never your photos, name or contacts, and are not used for advertising.
Children
Phototrend is not meant for children under 13 to use on their own. Parents and guardians may use it with photos of their own children; such a photo is handled exactly like any other — sent to generate the results, then deleted — and is never shown to anyone else.
Your rights
Since we hold no account and no personal profile, there is nothing to export. To erase what is stored against your device identifier, write to hello@phototrend.me and include the Support ID shown at the bottom of the app's purchase screen.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
